Migration Manager alternatives for Australian practices
Which Migration Manager alternatives should an Australian migration practice evaluate?
LodgeHQ, Immi Flow, ImmiIQ, Officio, and ImmiDesk are practical alternatives to investigate. Compare them against the Migration Manager workflows your practice already relies on, then test migration, application preparation, trust or billing work, permissions, and complete-file export before changing systems.
Disclosure: Immi Flow publishes this comparison and appears in it. Details and prices were checked on 1 October 2026 using vendors' public pages. We did not test competing products or interview their customers. Confirm current terms directly with each vendor.
Migration Manager is an established Australian immigration platform. Its site lists application automation, questionnaires, a client portal, batch VEVO, record keeping, and trust accounting. Practices evaluating alternatives should preserve the parts they depend on, then compare newer options on the work they want to improve.
Start with your current workflow
Migration Manager pricing lists A$339 per licence per month on a 12-month term or A$259 on a 24-month term, excluding GST, plus an A$900 professional fee for setup and training.
Before comparing replacements, record which functions the practice uses each week: application automation, questionnaires, portal and document exchange, file notes, reporting, VEVO, trust accounting, billing, templates, integrations, and permissions.
A cheaper product that omits a critical workflow can cost more after workarounds. A broader product can add complexity the practice does not need.

LodgeHQ
LodgeHQ advertises a broad platform with a client portal, CRM, invoicing, trust ledger, document extraction, e-signatures, workflow automation, and an ImmiAccount autofill extension. Support staff are included in the per-RMA subscription.
LodgeHQ also advertises a self-service Migration Manager importer and assisted migration. Ask it to demonstrate which records, family data, matters, documents, and templates transfer in your situation.
Immi Flow
Immi Flow puts document collection, source-linked findings, and practitioner approval at the centre of its offer. It also advertises intake, agreements, billing, a client portal, and a sealed matter export. Pricing includes support staff and advertises Migration Manager migration on certain plans and terms.
Investigate it when case readiness and review drive the change. Run a complete matter and test billing, permissions, historical records, and export as well as evidence review.
ImmiIQ
ImmiIQ combines a migration CRM with occupation and pathway research. Pro lists five seats at A$49 per month billed annually, plus optional ImmiAccount eLodgement and Sponsor Portal modules.
It may suit a practice that wants research and sponsor oversight alongside case management. Confirm module prices, storage, migration support, and the records that can be imported.
Officio
Officio includes case management and questionnaires in its core suite. Pro adds client and employer portals. Ultimate adds ImmiXpress, VEVO, e-signatures, time billing, and workflow management.
Numeric prices were not visible in the readable public page, so request a quote for the exact plan. Ask staff to run a form workflow and inspect the resulting client history.
ImmiDesk
ImmiDesk publishes staff-based plans: Starter at A$69 for one staff user, Professional at A$149 for three, and Enterprise at A$599 for unlimited staff, excluding GST. Modules and storage change by tier.
ImmiDesk may appeal when team size makes per-licence costs difficult. List required modules, integrations, and storage before comparing totals. Test whether exported records are complete and usable.
Plan the move before cancelling
The Migration Agents Code of Conduct requires client files to contain specified agreements, communications, records, invoices, and documents. Section 56 requires reasonable steps to keep files for seven years after the last action.
Run a sample migration first. Reconcile open and closed matters, family links, files, notes, invoices, templates, and user access. Keep the old system available until the sample and a larger batch pass.
See our software-switching checklist and seven-year retention guide. If evidence review drives the change, test one migrated matter in Immi Flow.
